Science Olympiad
Students are expected to apply the knowledge they have learned during school into an after school class working with 
mentors. Science Olympiad provides the unique opportunity to work together on a team with adult mentors. The opportunity to gain experience working collaboratively with adults is critical for your college and career preparation. Contact your Science Olympiad advisor to find out when Science Olympiad meets. You may receive credit on your transcript. If so, universities typically notice this program through the acceptance process when applying. Whether you receive credits or not, make sure you add this to you college application write up. Since Science Olympiad is only one semester in time, you will need to take two years or semesters to complete the Engineering Academy requirement. As an Engineering Pathway route you can take Science Olympiad in any configuration.
